Hawks Award New Life Memberships

On Friday Night the Hawks awarded Life Membership to club stalwarts Mike Garlepp and Tania Trengove in recognition of their service to the Perry Lakes Hawks.

Mike Garlepp was a board member from February 2004 until November 2020. Mike Served as President of the Perry Lakes Hawks from February 2008 to November 2013 and oversaw the move from the old stadium to the new one in 2010.

Mike’s knowledge of the Hawks  and his own life experiences have providing a great sounding board for many of the board members.

Tania Trengove commenced on Hawks SBL Score-table from 2000-2008 and from 2011-to date amassing over 315 games. During this time Tania was allocated SBL Grand-Finals and was a part of the NBL & WNBL score-table over a number of years.

Tania has been a team manager for Hawks WABL teams and State team manager during the time her children played at Hawks .

The depth and breadth of Mike and Tania’s contribution and commitment to the Hawks is major reason for the continuing success of our club. We thank them both for their commitment and dedication.
