ID CAMPS FOR 2026/27 WABL TRIALS (DOMESTIC/EXTERNAL WABL PLAYERS ONLY)
Our Junior Hawks ID Camps are for all new players who did not play within the Hawks WABL program in 2026 (current 2026 Hawks WABL players do not attend).
It is compulsory to attend these sessions to be eligible for Hawks WABL trials irrespective of playing WABL at another club in 2026 or not.
All sessions held at Bendat Basketball Centre unless specified below

Following ID Camp, all successful players will be emailed an invitation and registration link for 2026/27 Hawks WABL trials.
Key info:
• Players not in Junior Hawks WABL in 2026 must attend ID Camp, except U17 Girls and U19-21 Boys/Girls who are granted acceptance to WABL Trials.
• Players are assessed against WABL selection criteria by a coaching panel led by the PLHBA Basketball High Performance Manager.
• No feedback is provided to unsuccessful players.
• Selection numbers vary by age group.
• U12-U16 players must currently or intend to play PLHBA Junior Community League or JDL in order to qualify for a position in the Hawks WABL program.

2026/27 WABL TRIALS
The following tryout dates are only available to 2026 Perry Lakes Hawks WABL players and players invited following the ID Camp.
Players should attend all scheduled sessions to be considered for team selection. All trials will be held at Bendat Basketball Centre unless otherwise specified.

Key Info:
• All players selected to a Hawks WABL team (U12-U16) are required to play within the PLHBA Domestic Competition or Junior Development League to be eligible to play within the Hawks program.
