Division 1 Grand Final and All-Stars

It was a big day at Bendat with our Division 1 girls taking on the Lakeside Lightning in the Grandfinal. The girls fought hard and the lead went back and forwards until Lakeside eventually ran out winners 77 to 69. Kristan Teasdale top scored with 15 points, Bella Green had 14 , Maddy Hooper 12 and Annika Renkema 11 points.

At the conclusion of the game the Division 1 All-Stars were announced. These are voted on by opposition coaches and referees over the season.

Maddy Hooper was not only named an All-Star in the Women’s but aslo took out the League MVP as well. A fantastic achievement.

In the Men’s Division 1 Cooper Hamilton was named in the  All Stars.

Congratulations to our Division 1 ladies and Maddy and Cooper for their All-Star Awards.

Both the Men and Women’s SBL teams will face Lakeside in the quarter finals of the SBL this weekend.

The women will take on Lakeside Friday Night at 7pm at the Lakeside Recreation Centre whilst the Men will take on Lakeside on Saturday Night at 7pm at the Bendat Basketball Centre.
