Welcome Lochlan Cummings

The Perry Lakes “ID Athletic” Hawks are pleased to welcome Wildcats DP Lochlan Cummings to the nest for season 2018.

Cummings who represented the Cockburn Cougars in 2017 after 3 seasons with the University of Hope International, comes to the Hawks on the back of a great SBL season where he led the League in 3pt Field Goal Percentage at 42%, to go with 16 Points a game.

Coach Parsons is extremely excited to have Lochlan on Board in 2018

“Lochy had a great season last year and is just a smooth mover who shoots the ball at a high rate. He has been a full- time member of the Wildcats program as a development player in the offseason and with his exposure to the NBL in such a professional Club and Player development structures the Wildcats have provided, will see him take his game go to another level. He hasn’t missed a beat over the pre- season where he has had to juggle a fair bit on his plate with the Cats commitments as well as our own, but he hasn’t missed a session and has presented professionally and ready to go for each drill”

Lochy on signing with Perry Lakes:

“Matt and I had a meeting to talk about his vison for the Hawks and about the impact I could have with Perry Lakes and the things we could do, it all seemed to fit. I am someone who trusts my gut instincts and when I got home and reflected on our chat, everything Matt said really resonated with me. He discussed my value to the team and my instincts were telling me that this was the right decision. It has proven to be so far and I’m grateful for the opportunity to join this Club.”

“I want to win an SBL Championship with Perry Lakes Hawks and I think this year we really have a chance to do that with the group we have. I also want to continue my pursuit of my professional basketball career and crack my way into the NBL.

Perry Lakes are one of the most professional Clubs and I believe can help me reach my goals”

The SBL season for the Hawks in 2018 kicks off on Saturday March 17th with a home game at the Bendat Basketball Centre against Mandurah Magic.
