2025 WABL State Titles Wrap
The sixth annual BWA State Titles have officially wrapped up, marking the end of an exciting first weekend of the 2025 BWA State Championships at Bendat Basketball Centre. Over three days of high-level competition, the Perry Lakes Hawks delivered a solid performance—showcasing skill, determination, and the true spirit of the Hawks.
Over 3 days our Hawks teams have done us proud. All coaches, supporters, and athletes showed our Hawks values: Pride, Passion, Perseverance, Respect, and Leadership. Teams were supporting each other during the weekend, truly showing our Hawks Motto: Hawks as One.

Special mention to Hawks guard Sienna Mathiasz, who earned Grand Final MVP honours in the U13 Girls Championship after a superb individual display in a thrilling 31–30 overtime contest against Willetton.
Four teams have now qualified directly into the Championship Division for WABL 2026, while all others will go through grading process in the new year.
Every player, coach, and supporter embodied the Hawks values of respect, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament.
This weekend we will see our Under 11 and U15 Division 2–5 teams compete in Week 2 of the State Championships.
