Week 2 Wrap – Hawks U11 & U15 Boys at 2025 State Championships

The second weekend of the Basketball WA State Championships saw our U11 and U15 Boys teams hit the courts at Bendat Basketball Centre. It was a weekend full of effort, learning, and some fantastic wins for the Hawks!

U11 Boys

• Division 2: Finished with 2 wins, including a strong 32–22 victory over Rockingham Flames.
• Division 3: Claimed 2 wins, highlighted by a dominant 31–15 win over Eastern Suns.
• Division 4: Faced a tough pool and battled hard in every game, showing great effort and determination despite a winless campaign.

U15 Boys

• Division 2: A standout performance with 5 wins in the rounds, including big victories over Lakeside and Geraldton. The Hawks advanced to the Semi-Final, falling narrowly to Willetton Tigers 30–32 in a thriller.
• Division 3: Opened strong with 3 wins, highlighted by a commanding 44–27 win over Eastern Suns, before finishing 3–3 overall.
• Division 4: Battled hard and closed the weekend with a 30–23 win over Rockingham Flames.

Next weekend, Week 3 will feature our U13G and U17B age groups hitting the courts for their State Championship campaigns. Stay tuned for updates and results as the Hawks continue to soar!
