2025 Hawks First Nations Round Jersey
The 2025 Perry Lakes Hawks First Nations Round jersey is a tribute to spirit, legacy, and connection—honouring both the club’s proud history and the land on which it stands.
At the heart of the design is the Hawk Spirit, a powerful symbol of strength, watchfulness, and unity. It embodies the essence of the Perry Lakes Hawks and their deep-rooted ties to community. Surrounding the spirit is a gradient of rich blue tones, transitioning from dark to light, representing the diverse waterways that flow through the Perry Lakes area—lifeblood of the land and its people.
Beneath the Hawk Spirit, the layered blues reflect the many facets of the club: from grassroots domestic competitions, to the pathways of WABL, and the elite level of NBL1—each a vital part of the club’s evolving journey.
Flowing water and winding pathways behind the hawk mirror the natural terrain the hawk soars above, symbolising its role as a guardian watching over all. Encircling this are groups of people, acknowledging the foundations of the Perry Lakes Hawks, their historic success, and the generations—past, present, and future—who make up the ever-growing Hawks family.
The wings that sweep along the sides of the jersey and shorts represent not just the hawk in flight, but also the Noongar people and their sacred connection to Country. The intricate dot work within the wings illustrates the networks of community, while the seated figures pay homage to ancestors and those who have paved the way—former players, supporters, and Elders—watching over and guiding the journey forward.
This jersey is more than a uniform—it is a celebration of resilience, heritage, and the unbreakable bond between people, place, and purpose. It honours the story of the Perry Lakes Hawks and the enduring connection to the community that has shaped it.
